Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day - I went to Wells for the 2 minute silence held in the Market Square, it was a very wet morning.

My son played The Last Post

He has been playing the Last Post in Wells for 15 years.
Makes me very proud.

  1. It has been an awful day here as well today. So wet and windy.

That is so cool that your son has been doing that for all those years. It would make you very proud. :)

BTW - I dropped by your blog Tuesday evening, just as the second part to the tv programme was starting. I was going to leave a comment to say I saw the first one the week before and was about to watch this one. But I then got a phone call so had to stop the comment, and missed some of the show.
I did enjoy the first one though and hope to see it next week. It was cool seeing it after I had seen your photo's from it.

Thanks for your comments re- Blackpool, it was lovely seeing those lights. :)

  2. How moving - to see your son play the last post. There is something about a brass band which really moves me - I attended a Salvation Army Sunday School as a hild - the memories are always there!

  5. Wow, I think I may have shed a tear or two if I had been you there.
