30 Days Wild - The end

Today is the last day of blogging for 30 Days Wild, I haven't managed to blog everyday but enjoyed seeking out photographs of nature during the month.

This is my wildlife pond that I created a few years ago, the plant growing all over the pond is water forget-me-knot which I will trim back after it flowers, I also have iris and a beautiful water lily that will flower very soon.

These are the seeds I planted at the beginning of the month, I will post them again when they are flowering so check back to see them.

Street Plants in June

I saw Eileen's (In my playroom) photographs of Street Plants in June so I followed the link to Lucy and her blog Loose and Leafy to find another meme I am going to join in with.  I see many plants growing in the 'wrong' places and they always fascinate me how they grow with very little nourishment.  On a walk with Tara this week I took these photographs:

Saturday was a quiet day at home, Sunday was a trip to Clevedon for the Great British Greyhound Walk.  This is held annually all over the UK where greyhounds (and sometimes other sighthounds) get together to walk.  The walk we attended was organised by GRWE the rescue that Tara came from.

We walked from the park in Clevedon to the pier.

Getting stuck in traffic gave me the opportunity to see all the wildflowers on the side of the road.

At this time of the year I love to see all the different grasses that grow, where I walk in the mornings part of the area has been left wild, it is wonderful to see the changes over the seasons.
