A few more photos for my 2013 Summertime Scavenger Hunt, as it ends next week this will probably be the final few.

No. 19 A fisherman

No. 17 This scary witch holding the candle is at Wookey Hole, Somerset

No. 7 Funny sign, this was found on the roadside close to a veterinary surgery, 

someone there has a sense of humour!

No. 14 A mosaic - at my local park

No. 4 Airplane - this is as close as I could get!

I have 4 left to get - not sure if I will make it this year.

No: 16 Windmill:

Ashton Windmill was built in the 18th century although there haas been a mill on the site at Chapel Allerton, Somerset since medieval times.  The tower is 25 ft high with walls 2 ft thick.

We visited on an afternoon when the windmill was open so we were able to go inside.  I don't like heights so I only went up to the first floor, my son went all the way to the top.

I took this photo from the first floor of the windmill, as you can see 

there is a more modern windmill not too far away.

I am just about half way with my scavenger hunt this year.  Here are my latest finds:

No. 3 Town/City Hall

No. 18 - Tea Shop - located in Glastonbury, they serve wonderful lunches and of course cream teas.

No. 15 A Police car

No. 13 A fence,  just there for decoration

No. 10 - A bench outside, this bench is outside St John's Church in Glastonbury, it is in front of a fence with a police vehicle in the background.

Scavenger Hunt

Just a couple of photos for Rinda's Summertime Scavenger Hunt.

No 2 A Theatre - I found this theatre in Bath - looks an interesting place, it was starting to rain heavily so I could not stay to find out anything about it.

No. 8 A tower - this is the tower of St John's Church in Glastonbury.

Summertime Scavenger Hunt 2013

The first month of the Scavenger Hunt has flown by, I have not taken many photos from the list yet, simply because I keep forgetting to take the list with me. This is what I have taken so far:

No. 5 - A sunset

No. 5 - Tara taking a nap - don't you just love the position? She loves to lie upside 

down as do many greyhounds. They also love to lie on sofas and chairs!

No. 9 - I thought this was going to be a problem but I just happened to see Darth Vader at our local community day so in between playing with the band and helping on the Horticulture stand I had my photograph taken with him. Its not often he is just wandering around!
