Me on Monday
Waving to Sian and all my blog readers. It was a very busy kind of weekend.
Saturday started with me playing with the wind band on the bandstand in the park in the rain! The town has a charity day in the park each year to enable all the clubs and charities in the local area to raise money, it is rare for it to rain which it did in the morning but in the afternoon it had stopped and was cloudy so it was a successful day.
Each charity has a stall and there is entertainment in the big ring from the dancing club, ATC and other clubs, also the bandstand is used for entertainment from different groups. In the afternoon I helped with the Gardening Club selling plants and recruiting new members.
Monday finds me visiting friends for our 'craft group' I am crocheting around the edge of this blanket my sister knitted for the Cats Protection League.

Sunday I attended a dog show to raise money for Greyhound Rescue, the weather was not too hot which was good as the dogs did not get overheated.

2015 Summertime Scavenger Hunt - My first photo
On Sunday while taking Tara for the short walk on the Mendip Hills there was another reason for going. At the end of the lane where the geocache is there is also a cellular tower. I see this tower every morning from where I walk Tara so when I saw No 11 - A cellular tower or satellite dish on the list I decided that was the photo I would take. Finding out it was at the end of a footpath with a geocache sat there was a bonus - so three in one!

Me on Monday

Monday finds me tired after a trip to Bristol to meet a friend for coffee. I used the park and ride but when catching the bus to go back it was delayed by an hour due to an accident, I then got held up again on the way back due to a road closure so a 45 minute journey took 2 hours!
