This morning it snowed for a couple of hours so I went into the garden to record the rare event. By lunchtime it had turned to rain, then the sun came out in the afternoon.
We went for a drive on the moors this afternoon! Caught some awesome photos. We had snow and tonight sounds a rough night too! Thank goodness for the 4x4 pickup which hubby drives.
Sounds like you experienced three different seasons in one day. Great shots. I really like the one of the bird.
ReplyDeleteThat was a lot of snow, none here which was a shame, the children would have loved it.
ReplyDeleteBack to work tomorrow, no chance of being snowed in!

ReplyDeleteYes Trisha the weather did go through 3 seasons.
ReplyDeleteSuburbia - Shame you didn't get any snow, it was very localised. My daughter (in Cambridge) had lots.

Oh wow... look at that snow! The expression on the little bird is as if he wasn't expecting the snow... it is an adorable picture... terrific capture!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the nice comment on my blog.
I like all of your spring snow shots but the little bird captured my heart.
ReplyDeleteI am glad to see that it was not only hear we got a "March surprise". Let us now hope that it will disappear equally fast.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots over the Holls
